OGE Energy Corp. has awarded grants of up to $1,000 to 35 public school teachers throughout Oklahoma and western Arkansas who submitted proposals for classroom projects focusing on math, science and reading skills.
It is the eighth year for the OGE Energy program. Overall, the company has committed approximately $190,000 to help fund more than 200 creative school projects.
