OG&E Wind Farms

We’re doing all the work needed to offer you cleaner energy options. In 2006, we won approval to build the Centennial Wind Farm in Harper County. It's more than 80 turbines can generate 120 megawatts of electricity. Our partnership with Florida-based FPL Energy Company adds more than thirty additional wind turbines to our portfolio and can generate 50 megawatts of electricity, feeding our system.

With OG&E's renewable energy program, you can now purchase wind power for 25, 50 or 100 percent of your usage. There’s no new equipment required at your home or business to make use of this alternative renewable energy source!
