Time of Use Rate
OG&E's Time-of-Use rate rewards customers for decreasing usage during peak
demand hours in the summer. During June through September, you'll receive a
much lower rate during off-peak hours but pay a higher rate during our peak
load hours (times vary according to your rate class), excluding weekends and
holidays. Customers also pay a time-of-use meter charge. During the winter
season, Time-of-Use customers revert to our standard rates. To learn more,
go to Customer Rates
or contact Customer Service.
More information is also available on our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Average Monthly Billing (AMB)
Wouldn't it be convenient to know about how much your electric bill will be
every month? Knowing ahead of time what to expect can make planning your
budget easier. Now thanks to OG&E's Average Monthly Billing, you can do just
that. The plan is designed to average your monthly payments and level out
those unusually high bills that occur during months of high electricity use.
Your total annual cost for electricity remains the same, but you have the
convenience of a more consistent bill each month. Enroll
online, or contact
Customer Service.
Guaranteed Flat Bill (GFB)
Imagine paying the same, predictable monthly amount for your electricity …
regardless of how much you use … for an entire year! When you enroll in OG&E's
Guaranteed Flat Bill (GFB), you pay the same monthly amount for your
electric bill for one full year. Your bill remains the same amount
regardless of the amount of electricity you use due to summer's heat or
winter's cold. There are no increases due to changes in fuel prices or
electric rates. You're fully protected! Unlike OG&E's Average Monthly
Billing Program, GFB has no "roll-over" feature that constantly changes your
monthly bill. You're not liable for any overage during your GFB enrollment
period when you complete the one-year agreement. To enroll, contact
Customer Service. GFB is
open to Oklahoma customers only. Some conditions apply.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP)
Customers who are qualified by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
(DHS) for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) are given a
credit for OG&E's customer charge, $6.50, during the months of June through
September, when energy bills are typically higher. During the months of
November through April, these customers receive a credit of $0.0067 per kWh
for all usage over 600 kWh. We must receive certification from DHS that you
are qualified for LIHEAP before we put you on this program. To learn more,
go to Customer Rates
or contact Customer Service.
Auto Pay (Automatic Payment Withdrawal)
With Auto Pay, your electric bill is automatically deducted from your
checking or savings account each month. You will still receive an OG&E bill
each month that shows your usage and the date your payment will be withdrawn
from your bank account. You will have 10 days from the date your bill is
mailed to contact OG&E to stop the withdrawal if you have questions about
your bill. To sign up, print and complete the
Auto Pay application form and mail it to the following address:

ATTN: AUTO PAY M222
PO BOX 321
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73101-0321.
Heat Pumps
Total electric heat pumps work all year to heat and cool your home.
Dual-fuel heat pumps operate
with two fuels. In the summer, the electric heat pump works as a central air conditioning unit.
During the winter, the heat pump automatically switches to the most economical fuel, depending
on the outside temperature.
