Impact in Action
We value our customers and the communities we call home. We maintain relationships with local and regional nonprofit organizations to support the resilient communities throughout our service area. Supporting their work in education, health & human services, environment, arts & culture, and community development makes safer, healthier, and happier communities.
Making a Difference
Our History
Since 1902, community service is at the core of who we are and what we do.
Promoting Education
We award more than $180,000 in student scholarships every year.
Nonprofit Support
Together with our employees, we raise more than $1 million every year for the 12 United Way organizations across our service area.
Let’s Cool Off!
Each summer, OG&E provides electric fans to assist neighbors impacted by severe heat in communities across Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Since the start of the program in 2006, OGE Energy has donated and helped distribute more than 20,800 fans.
Meals on Wheels
By pairing our employee volunteers with financial donations to meal-delivery nonprofit Meals on Wheels, we ensure vulnerable seniors and our homebound neighbors receive a fresh, hot meal and a personal conversation with someone who cares.
Thunder Community Courts
We are working with Thunder Cares to refurbish and re-energize 30 community basketball courts in parks and schools across the state. The courts serve as important sites for youth programs and local communities. Through our partnership, we will preserve courts for upcoming generations, supporting Thunder Cares’ mission to advance health and fitness in Oklahoma.
