OG&E is passionate about empowering the next generation with our support of the Construct My Future camp. From June 3-7, the Engineering Technology Center at OSU OKC became a playground of possibilities for middle schoolers.

The camp was a hit, with 96 campers from grades 6-8 diving into the trades. They got their hands dirty learning carpentry, operating heavy equipment, tackling HVAC challenges, and wiring electrical circuits.

It was more than just fun and games; it was a real eye-opener for the kids and their families. They discovered a world of careers in skilled trades, learned about the industries hungry for these skills, and the deep satisfaction these jobs can bring. OG&E's role in this is clear—they're committed to nurturing community growth and arming young minds with the tools to carve out a successful future in these vital industries.
