Tax Credits

The Inflation Reduction Act offers tax credits up to $7,500 for new EVs purchased in 2023 or after and $4,000 for used EVs – saving families an average of $950 a year on fuel costs.

Oklahoma has the highest density of DC Fast Charging Stations in the nation. Through federal funding, Arkansas will add an electric vehicle charger station every 50 miles near an interstate exit over the next 5 years.

Pricing Options for Electric Vehicle Owners

Electric vehicles have many benefits including low maintenance, cost savings, and zero emissions. Like most electronic devices, they need to be plugged into a source of electricity. OG&E offers different pricing options for electric vehicle owners such as SmartHours Daily (VPP), SmartHours Fixed (TOU) and SmartHours Overnight (EV-TOU). Each pricing option offers great discounts from June 1st – September 30th during off-peak hours. The pricing option you choose will depend on your preferences and lifestyle.
